Diane was born and raised in Millen. She has a B.S. in Business Education from GSU. She also has an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from GSU. Diane taught business at East Anchorage High School, Anchorage, Alaska for two years. She served as a counsleor in Jacksonville for one year and served as a counselor at Southwest Dekalb High School for 28 years. She retired in July, 1995. Diane's other activities include: Millen Women's Club, Azalea Garden Club, Better Hometown Program, Jenkins County Athletic Booster Club, Millen Milers & More, Millen Baptist Church. She and Julian were married in August, 1964. They have a son, Patrick, who lives in Atlanta. |
