9:00 - 11:30 - Community Health Fair with information provided by the Jenkins County Hospital, the Jenkins County Health Department, Jenkins County School Food Service, the Jenkins County Family Enrichment Commission, Jenkins County Community Learning Centers, Planters EMC Child ID Project.
Entry Fee: 1 Mile Fun Run - $8.00 before March 8
$10.00 on day of race.
5K Road Race - $15.00 before March 8
$18.00 on day of race
AWARDS
Trophies to first place male and female in the 5K; Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place males and females: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: Trophies will be awarded to first male and female finisher. Age group awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, male and female in the following age groups: 6 & under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 & over.
All runners and walkers will receive a Super Eagle Day 5K T-shirt.
RUN AWAY WITH A GOOD BOOK!
Children under 12 years of age will receive a children's reading book in their race packet, courtesy of the Jenkins County Family Enrichment Commission.

Both races will be conducted by The Millen Milers & More Running/Walking Club of Millen, Georgia. Club President is Ray Miller.

Directions:
From Augusta - Take highway # 25 south, turn left on to highway # 23, courthouse is .6 mile on the left.
From Statesboro - Take highway # 25 north, turn right on to highway # 23, courthouse is .6 mile on the left.
JENKINS COUNTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HEALTH INDEX COMMITTEE
The Jenkins County Elementary School Health Index Committee began meeting in December of 2002. The goal of this committee was to raise awareness about proper nutrition and regular physical activity. Ms. Edna Davis, East Central Health District #6, assisted the committee as they completed a set of eight modules designed to assess the needs of our school and community in these areas. After months of hard work, the committee selected several plans of action to help raise community awareness of how important it is for our children and adults to eat properly and to exercise regularly. The Super Eagle Day Road Race and Community Health Fair are two of the activities planned. The JCES Health Index Committee would like to thank you for your support and participation in our Super Eagle Day in Millen, Georgia.
5K COURSE DIRECTIONS
USATF Course Certification # GA05005WC. The 5k road course will begin at the courthouse, proceed north on Harvey, turn right on North Ave., turn left on Reynolds St, right on Franklin Place, left on Progress Place, left on Odom St., left on Grimm Ave., right on Franklin Place, left on Reynolds, right on North Ave., cross Harvey, right on Belcher Circle, left on Ada Drive, left on Wade St., left on North Ave., right on Harvey Street and the finish line will be near the courthouse.

Post race refreshments provided by: Augusta Coca Cola Bottling Company, Jenkins County School Food Services and the Jenkins County 21st Century Community Learning Centers.

In consideration of the Jenkins County Elementary School, the Jenkins County High School and the Millen Milers Running Club, their sponsors, agents, employees, representatives and officers all hereinafter collectively referred to as "Race Sponsors" organizing and conducting the Super Eagle Day 5K road race and allowing me to participate and run in said race, I hereby covenant for myself, my heirs and assigns, not to sue and forever release and discharge the Race Sponsors of any and from all claims demands, rights and causes of action of whatsoever kind or nature arising from and by reason of any and all known and unknown and unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, damages to property and the consequences thereof, resulting from my running and/or participating in said Road Race. I further state that I am in proper physical condition to participate in the Road Race and agree that the Race Sponsors are under no obligation to provide a physical examination or any other evidence of my fitness to participate in the Road Race with this being my sole obligation. I also agree that I may be examined and treated if necessary during the course of the race by qualified race personnel in the event medical problems of any cause arise. The race officials or the qualified personnel have the right to disqualify me and remove me from the race if, in their opinion, I may be suffering from a life threatening condition. I also give my permission for the free use of my name and picture in any broadcast release or other account of the Road Race.
