Julian was born and raised in Millen. He received a B.S. in Art Education from GSU in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1966 and was stationed at Ft. MacPherson, Atlanta and Ft. Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska. Julian taught art in Jacksonville for one year and in DeKalb County for two years. He worked at Shepherd Construction Co. in Atlanta for 27 years. He retired in August, 2000. Julian's other activities inclue: Choir member, Millen Baptist Church, Better Hometown Program, Jenkins County Athletic Booster Club, and Board of Directors for Friends of the Ogeechee River |
