I've been running for 17 years. I have run 1 marathon, 4 half-marathons and about 150 5K's & 10K's. I run five days a week and enjoy every time out. My favorite race was the Marathon Seven Mile Bridge Run in the Florida Keys. My running idol is Joyce Hodges-Hite. I'm only about 100 marathons behind her. I am an assistant principal at Burke County High School where I've also coached football and tennis. My wife of 37 years is Rosemary. I have a daughter, Jennifer McLaughlin, who lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband Shawn. I have a son, Jonathan, who is a senior at Notre Dame. Go Irish! |
